Shelley and I just got back from Camp Homeward Trails.  It was about five hour drive from here.  It feels good to be home.  It was exciting to see God work in the lives of our students.  We had seven kids that volunteered to serve as cabin leaders at their junior camp week.  Both of us are exhausted.  The humidity at the camp was incredible.  I’m so glad that western Nebraska is much drier than eastern Nebraska.  Our kids worked hard and I’m proud of them.  They’re a good bunch of kids.

Next week we have more camp lined up.  This time just I’m going to a wilderness camp for Camp Rock in western Nebraska.  A couple of kids from our church are going.  So that’s pretty cool.  Shelley and Mae are staying in Chadron and holding down the fort.

How many times are you going to Camp Rock this summer? Karen is there right now. I don’t know which camps she is going to be helping at but I’m sure it would be cool if she got to see you or your wife. I know she isn’t helping with any of the wilderness camps, but she is going to be at one or two of the jr. girls camps.
