    A simplistic argument but I think Walvoord is correct.

    Often you read comentaries on the OT by non-Milennial writers and frequently read things like “The meaning of this passage is very mysterious.”

    I was pointing at his use of the word “intelligent.” While I agree with the premil position, I wouldn’t go so far to say that the amil position is unintelligent.

    Sometimes older writers use the word ‘intelligence’ in the sense of knowledge.
