works of the Torah

Here are all of Paul’s references to “works of the Law” in the ESV.

Romans 3:20
For by works of the law no human being[1] will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.
[1]Greek flesh

Romans 3:28
For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law.

Galatians 2:16
yet we know that a person is not justified[1] by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ,[2] so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.
[1]Or counted righteous (three times in verse 16); also verse 17 [2]Or through the faithfulness of Jesus Christ

Galatians 3:2
Let me ask you only this: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing with faith?

Galatians 3:5
Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith—

Galatians 3:10
For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.”
