I recently came across Mounce’s website. He has some excellent helps on it for learning the Biblical languages. You can download the fonts from it to type in Greek and Hebrew. Check it out.
The last couple of weeks have been really busy for me as midterms approached. So if you’ve wondered why I haven’t been posting much, that’s why.
I hope to start posting a little more frequently. I’m starting to work on my doctrine statement on God and creation that’s due in a couple of weeks.
Hebrew and Greek [...]
Learning Greek and Hebrew this semester has really been a privilege. In the past, I thought, “Now that we have so many great English translations of the Bible, why do we even need to learn the original languages?”
Yet learning to read the Bible in the original languages adds so much to our understanding of Scripture. It’s like [...]
So I just spent my first week back to school. It’s been three years since I’ve had any college classes. I’m kind of out of the loop. Since I’m mostly taking languages courses, my classes are filled with undergrads, who are about 8 or 9 years younger than me. I’m feeling sorta old.

I’m using a computer program called Hebrew Tutor. It’s ok, but I’m sure that the program’s a little too old for [...]
I’m sure that most of you are aware of BibleGateway. It’s a great site for online Bible usage. So if you like BibleGateway, then you might like the Blue Letter Bible as well. It has some great helps for those learning the Biblical languages.
My in-laws gave me this computer program so that I could get a headstart on Hebrew. The language is pretty weird. Their alphabet is totally different. I’m not sure that I’m going to get this.
