The “Christian” West?

Here’s an interesting story from FoxNews.  Evidently the second most popular boy’s name in the UK is Mohammed.   It’s becoming quite obvious that Islam is filling a void in post-Christian secular culture.  Does this remind anyone else of Jesus’ statement in Matthew 12:43-45?

”When an evil spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that man is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.”

  1. Matthew C Says:

Daniel, here is some homework for you. Count the number of Muslim boy’s names and then count the number of names in non-Muslim ethnic groups. That will explain why Mohammed is the most popular boy’s name in the UK.

2-3% of the population of the UK is Muslim. The lpopulation of the UK is overwhelmingly Christian in its profession. The fastest growing ethnic minority is Polish, and they are mostly Catholic.

Muslims are a noisy minority here. They are great at making their voice heard, but they wil always be a minority.

    Every Blessing in Christ

    Matthew

  2. Daniel Says:

    Matthew,

    That’s definitely a good point.
