Craig on Molinism
William Lane Craig has an excellent commentary on his new site about Molinism. The article is on the difference between possible and feasible worlds. For those who don’t know what Molinism is, it’s an approach to God’s omniscience that seeks to reconcil human responsibility with God’s sovereignty. And it gets there in a way that is more compatible with Arminian theology than Reformed theology.

Actually Molinism can only work within a Calvinistic Understanding of Freedom – Compatablistic freedom. Libertarian freedom cannot accout for Craig’s molinism. So end the end Molinism can only be Calvinistic if it is feasible at all.

Glenn,
Do you believe in middle knowledge? Are you Reformed? Where are you coming from with that statement?
LFW makes more sense to me than compatiblism.
I don’t think that middle knowledge fits too well with Calvinism, because that makes election conditional.
