nt wright on the resurrection
I found a lecture by NT Wright on the resurrection. Pretty good stuff.
I also just read a paper by Wright on Romans 2. Very interesting. I’m teaching Romans for high school Bible study right now.
In the past, I’ve always taken “the work of the Law written on their hearts” in v. 15 as referring to the conscience of the unbeliever who has never heard. However, Wright makes a good case that this phrase alludes to Jeremiah 31. And if that’s the case, Paul is talking about Gentile believers.
